Flat Cross Salt Lamp: a flat, cross-shaped Himalayan salt lamp, about 9 inches, with a cord, dimmer and bulb included.
Himalayan salt comes from the Khewra Salt Range in Pakistan. The bands and shading in each lamp are natural layers in the salt, and when it is lit it gives off a warm amber glow.
What Makes This Piece
- Size: about 9 inches
- Material: hand-carved Himalayan salt, natural orange/pink
- Origin: Khewra Salt Range, Pakistan
- Comes with: a base, a UL-certified cord with dimmer switch and a warm white bulb
Care
Salt draws moisture from the air, so keep the lamp in a dry room and wipe it with a dry cloth. Leaving it switched on for a few hours helps it stay dry. In humid weather set it on a mat or coaster to protect furniture.
A Note on Your Selection
Every salt lamp is carved by hand from natural salt, so the shape, shade of orange and pink, and banding will differ from the photo. Small chips along the edges come from the carving and are normal. You receive a lamp like the one pictured.
